Novel amide gp. contg. biuret polyisocyanates opt. as mixts. of homologues are of formula (I): (where R1 is divalent 6-17C (cyclo)aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon or xylylene; R2 is 1-12C divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon; R3 is divalent 1-17c (cyclo)aliphatic hydrocarbon and m = 0-2; and the two m's total 1-2). (I) have improved stability and may be transported without formation of toxic diisocyanates, (I) may be used to prepare polyurethanes.
