A vehicle seat with a combined hand grip and ash tray. It has this mounted in the rear back back panel. The rear panel has an opening to house a box seating for both the hand grip and ash tray. The hand grip is above the ash tray. At the ends of the hand grip are seatings to support it, these can be hollow. Extensions can be fitted to the seatings and have a hinged lid with a thin type hinge. The ends of the hand grip can have suspension type hooks fitted. The hand grip is for use during severe deceleration.
