Harvesting of shock sensitive fruits - has fruit bearing tree packed with foam before being shaken

The harvesting of shock-sensitive fruits uses a vibrator device and a collector base. The tree which carries the fruits (14) is packed with a foam (13) and then shaken. The fruits which have then sunk through the foam cushion are then removed from the collection base (3). The foam is a protein foam which is partly sucked in after the fruits have sunk and is then used for packing further trees. To effect this procedure, there is an easily transportable wall (4) which can be set up around one or more trees (1) and prevents the expansion of foam sideways.
