<p>The mechanism for manual operation of a roller shutter involves a double-draw cord with a pulley coupled to shutter spindle. A spring-operated coil device is provided for the returning cord section, both mounted inside a shutter case. The coil device is in the form of a spring socket revolving about a fixed bearing pin (1A), with a cord-guiding pulley (2) fixed to its base. Where the cord sections (7, 7A) pass through the base of the shutter case, there is a cord guideway (8) bringing the activating section and returning section into a setting turned through 90 deg. relative to each other. The pulley can be a ring disc attached to the base of the spring unit.</p> |
