<p>A lubricant comprises a blend of a Bright Stock and a mineral lubricating oil bath having a viscosity index of at least 80 and lead naphthenate. A sulphurized fatty oil, e.g. sperm oil or fatty acid esters may be included in the composition. The mineral oil may contain 2-10% of heterocyclic aromatics, e.g. mono and dibenzothiophenes, thiophehacenaphthylenes, thiophenanthrenes and thiophenopyrenes. The composition may also include thickeners, e.g. polyolefines, foam inhibitors, e.g. dimethyl silicone, antioxidants, e.g. di- and tri-alkyl phenols, 4,41 - methylene - bis - (2,6 - ditertbutyl phenol), 4,41-thio-bis-(2,6-ditert-butyl phenol) and phenylnaphthylamines.</p> |
