<p>The swimming pool constructing below floor level involves a set of prefabricated concrete components, comprising wall and ceiling elements (2, 28, 3), one or more swimming pool wall elements (5), and one or more platforms and staircase elements (6, 7). The wall elements are double-skinned, enclosing a cavity for filling with site concrete, but the ceiling elements are single-skinned. The outer wall skins may be higher than the inner skins by the thickness of ceiling elements plus that of the site concrete layer to to be applied. This precludes occurrence of unsealed areas produced by wall joints.</p> |
