PURPOSE:To make manufacturing easy and high rate charge/discharge characteristics good by composing solid electrolyte of material consisting of tetraalkylammonium hydroxide hydrate mainly. CONSTITUTION:Solid electrolyte is composed of material mainly consisting of tetraalkylammonium hydroxide hydrate. This tetraalkylammonium hydroxide hydrate is expressed by a general expression I, where R1, R2, R3, R4 can be the same or different, and it is an organic radical of carbon numbers of 1-22. For composing a solid type hydrogen battery of a negative pole, positive pole active material and solid electrolyte, a separator holding the solid electrolyte by impregnation is held between both poles in the charged condition, and it is heated at over the fusing point of the solid electrolyte to be integrated, or mixture of powders of the solid electrolyte and powders of the separator is held between both poles and heat processed to be integrated. |
