Preferred cross-linking agents are dimethylol carbamates, dimethylol urea and cyclic dimethylol urea compounds, triazinones, methylol melamine compounds, watersoluble etherified methylol melamine compounds, and compounds containing aldehyde group(s). Preferred catalysts are magnesium chloride and nitrate, zinc chloride and nitrate, diammonium sulphate, and metal salts of polycarboxylic acids such as citric, tartaric, succinic and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. Preferred sublimable dyes contain hydroxy, amino, amide, sulpho or carboxy groups. The fabrics, particularly cotton and polyester/ cotton, may present improved dimensional stability, crease-resistance and/or press-free and durable press finishes. |
