Resin binder consists of a thermoplastic resin and as additives Cu oxide or Fe oxide and micronised rhyolite. This binder is mixed hot with inert aggregate to give high strength resin concrete. The material is used for constructional and engineering applications. The material is less expensive than a similar prior art material using PVC. The material is more resistant to temp. and water.
