The symbol is selected from a large number of symbols. A main part (1) of the device is provided with a number of symbols arranged in a circle. They are figures, letters or other marks. The main part (1) has further a disc (2) which is able to rotate about the centre of the circle. The disc (2) has an opening (15) at the same distance from the centre as the symbols on the main part of the device, through which the symbols can be seen.
