<p>The assembly relates to the support for an electric transmission line and comprises a vertical post with a side shoulder support holding a toggle device and a chain link. The transmission line is connected to the latter through an insulator. The mechanical resistance of the weakest part, of the link is inferior to that of the rupture strength of the cable. The connection between the link and the post is also arranged such that the link breaks before permanent deformation of the post occurs.</p> |
