<p>The masking sections (10) are attached to the abutting faces of a post (2) and the post (1) of a sliding sash. The posts (1, 2) are hollow sections with a geometry providing halved (6) dovetail section channels (5) on the abutting post faces. Plastics dovetail clips (11) fix both the masking sections (10) and the seals (13) to the post faces. The masking sections (10) may be of an 'L' section. The outer leg aligns parallel to the major window plane and presents a shallow rectangular head (10a) to the exterior. The inner leg (10b) reciprocates the geometry of half of the dovetail channel (5).</p> |
