<p>The connector, for flat conductors, consists of a male contact element comprising two flat conducting bars coupled together at their ends and electrically insulated from one another by a dielectric. One of the bars is wider than the other. The female assembly consists of an armature with two insulating jaws pivoting symmetrically relative to their plane of contact. The jaws hold the ends of a first and second pair of flat, conducting bars, of the same configuration as a aforementioned. The male and female parts connect by the two male bars' being engaged between the jaws when the latter close.</p> |
