The cigarette case is for use by a person requiring to limit the smoking habit. It comprises a box (1) with a hinged lid (2), held closed by a catch (8) and controlled by a time unit (4 to 7) set into one end (3) of the box. It provides access to the cigarettes, only releasing the catch at predetermined intervals, which can be gradually extended as necessary. The opposite side of the box has a compartment (9) closed by a lid (10), this being freely available at all times. It contains a space for anti-smoking pastilles and, if required, locations for cigarette holders and special filters.
