The vehicle wheel is provided with brake drum (10) and rim (5) which are fitted individually onto a wheel body (1) and are connected to the wheel body (1) with attachment means (7, 8) which are arranged on the same hole circle. The wheel body (1) is provided with a cylindrical outer surface (2) which has at least one support (9) which runs at a right angle with respect to the axle of the wheel and a centring face (11, 12) for receiving the rim (5) and, if appropriate, the brake drum (10) from the outside of the wheel. The rim (5) and the brake drum (10) are provided with attachment tabs (13, 17) for connection to the wheel body (1). The brake drum (10) is located here on the inside of the wheel. When using wheels with two rims (5), the same rim design can be used both for the inside and for the outside of the wheel. This design provides good installation conditions. In addition, distortion of the brake drum or of the rims due to their separate attachment can be largely avoided. <IMAGE>
