<p>Process for the manufacture of low molecular, unsaturated hydrocarbon polymers having an increased proportion of vinyl, or substituted vinyl, groups by polymerising conjugated dienes, optionally in the presence of a solvent, with the aid of a catalyst system consisting of a) a cobalt compound, b) a halogen-containing organo-aluminium compound and c) and organic phosphorus compound. Low molecular, unsaturated hydrocarbon polymers, particularly polybutadienes, are valuable raw materials for the preparation of coating agents and coatings.</p> |
