<p>An applicator made of a resilient plastically deformable material, such as paper or the like, for a substantially cylindrical menstruation tampon. The applicator comprises an applicator sleeve and a tampon ejector slidable therein. The rear end of the ejecting element extends out of the rear end of the sleeve by a length substantially corresponding to that of the tampon. The ejecting end disposed inside the casing bears against that end of the tampon having a withdrawal string substantially enclosed by the sleeve. In order to secure the tampon within the sleeve in a simple manner, the forward end of the sleeve is provided with at least one dent portion which extends between 4 and 8 mm in length and forms an angle of approximately 5.degree. with the longitudinal axis of the applicator sleeve.</p> |
