<p>The control system which can be operated by handicapped people. It is intended to manipulate such appliances as television, typewriter, telephone sets etc. It will involve using a single control knob to perform a large number of functions. The matching and control unit (I) is coupled to the appliances to the actuator unit and the working and storage memories (6, 7). The memories contain information and program symbols. The information is extracted by scanners according to a chosen pattern. They will activate a circuit, which will transmit the scanned information to the required section. A circuit will execute the appropriate program, including switching off.</p> |
