The furniture hinge is fitted on the fixed wall by an adjustable sliding mounting and on the door panel by a fixed mounting. Both mountings are held in chipboard so that they can be repeatedly clamped and removed without damage to this relatively brittle material. The mounting fitted into the door has a U-shaped pin for pivoting hinge levers whose other ends are pivoted to the mounting block, held in the furniture wall. This mounting on the door has a cup-shaped housing with flange for fastening screws. The mounting on the wall has a sliding section which is held by snap fit on the block base. This section is readily fitted and replaced by hand. The supporting block for this section is held firmly on the wall. |
