<p>The holder for a spare wheel is placed under vehicle chassis. It comprises a cradle (3) shaped to match the wheel profile and with a cross bar (4, 12) at one end which can slide longitudinally between the flanges of chassis (1 & 1'). The other end of the cradle (3) is fixed removably to the end transverse member of the chassis (2). Clamp may be varied. The transverse member (4) is extensible by sleeves (12).</p> |
