摘要 <p>Fuel is delivered by a pump (14) to a metering valve (7). The fuel passes through passages into the annular groove (18) in a piston from which it passes through further passages into the injection chambers (21). The injection chambers are separated by a membrane (22) from pressure chambers. A branch pipe takes fuel through these to an orifice (35) in the side of an integrator. The integrator contains a spring loaded piston (37) with an internal bore with a throttle (46) in it. Fuel can flow through this from a by-pass contg. a solenoid operated throttle valve. The back pressure on the metering valve piston is varied by the flow through the integrator which in turn depends on the opening of the solenoid valve (43).</p>
