The storage device for liquid manure has a container which can be closed in a pressure-tight manner and which is connected with a feed line and a storage tank so that it can be cut off. The manure is pumped from the container into the storage tank and can flow back from this into the container. An immersion pump with reduction mechanisms is fitted in the container and above the feed line. The immersion pump is fitted to a removable cover of the container. The drive has an electro-gear motor and a plug connection for the take-off shaft drive of a tractor.
