Warp knitter partial weft insertion - uses separate weft guides on guide bar to increase effects without reducing machine speed

On a warp knitter which uses a number of partial wefts to build up the fabric, a weft guide is mounted to a reciprocating guide bar, so that the guide can be given an equal or different stroke length during the reciprocating movement. The design allows greater flexibility in the character of fabrics produced, and the weft insertion process does not affect the machine speed as only the individual weft guides are manipulated to give the special effects.
