Plasticised mass gasifying or de-gassing device in a worm screw feeder is formed by axial and radial bores in the feeder the radial bores being closed by needle valve spindle whose needle shafts are flush with the outer periphery of the work screw feeder. The number of radial bores can be selected as desired and valved openings cannot be blocked by residual plastics mass.
