PURPOSE:To easily detach a basket and an image carrier unit and to surely assemble them by providing knobs on the basket and downward finger folding parts and upward pressing parts on the image carrier unit. CONSTITUTION:In the case of detaching the basket 19, a top cover 4 is turned upward, and the basket 19 is pulled up together with the image carrier unit 21 and a developing unit 22 while the knobs 34 provided on both sides of the basket 19 are held, and a paper feeding route is opened. Consecutively, the knob 54 on the unit 21 and a knob 56 on a toner container 30 are pulled up by putting fingers on the respective finger folding parts, and the unit 21 and 22 are taken out. To assemble them, a bearing 35 of the unit 21 and the supporting shaft 35 of the unit 22 are inserted into guide grooves. Besides, the upward pressing part 55 on the knob 54 is pushed down and then the bearing 35 and a pin 54 are moved downward. Ultimately, the unit 21 is positioned by an engaging means 43. |
