摘要 <p>Quantitative elevation of chromatograms on a two dimensional thin film system involves separating the components of the sample mixture on an absorptive surface to create a chromatogram of different spots. The whole chromatogram is tested point by point in a series of consecutive steps using a probe sensitive to the properties of the individual components or their reaction products. The sides of the probe correspond to the dimensions of individual steps and is smaller than the extent of the smallest spot to be considered on the chromatogram. The output signal for each step is amplified and linearised as a deviation from an average value. This is then fed to a computer. To discriminate the spots, profiles are created at radially projecting straight lines. The point of measurement is taken as background where a min reading is obtd. The various values obtd for a spot are summed to give a value proportional to the concentration of the component. Used for automatic evaluation of chromatograms from analysis cells. Allows the chromatogram so produced to be directly evaluated and a complete breakdown corresponding to the various components in mixt. provided.</p>
