The spool (2) is seated in the housing (7) by a pin (11) which slides in a groove in the housing surface. Inside the housing is an axle (3) with two extended shoulder-like ends and a torsion bar-like middle part. The faces of the extended shoulders have recesses for torsion springs (6) (10). When putting-on the belt pin (9) is engaged, and pin (8) is disengaged so that spring (6) is tensioned during the coiling off of the belt. Sliding the clasp plate into the lock closes the switch (14) and pin (8) moves into the engaged position and pin (9) disengages. Spring (6) is now ineffective and further uncoiling can be effected against the tension of the much weaker spring (10).
|
