A rubber or polymer tyre with reinforcing carcase of circumferential fibres or tape has adjacent additional fibre/tape layers at an angle to the circumference. The carcase has concentric ring-shaped reinforcements extending from bead to bead. The crown has two cord layers under the tread, each consisting of parallel high-tensile strength reinforcing strips laid at 40-60 degrees to the circumference and so that those in the two strips are set at an acute angle to each other. Tyre has dynamically soft action.
