The screw holder for a screwdriver is designed to hold, loosen and adjust all types of screw with a slit or cross-slit head. The unit sleeve (1) is mounted movably and rotatably on the screw driver shaft (3) and is so widened in the region of the drive head (2) that by corresponding displacement it can accommodate screws for all types of work. The sleeve is matched in its guide region to the relevant screwdriver shaft dia. and by means of slits serves as a displaceable and rotatable clamping sleeve. The slits are so designed that the sleeve can even be placed over screwdrivers with broad tips. The sleeve can be made from electrically non-conducting material for insulated screwdrivers.
