<p>The powder proportioner consists of a powder store with outlet conduit. A proportioning disc is located in the conduit. An injector is fastened to the disc. The injector has a pressure nozzle, connected to a carrier gas feed conduit, and a mixing nozzle, with a connected feed conduit for the powder/gas mixture. A Pitot tube extraction unit (24) removes part of the powder/gas flow. With only one of these units, the Pitot tube (19) is inserted into the feed conduit (13), and connected to an extractor conduit (23). With the use of several units, the subsequent Pitot tubes (29) are each inserted into the previously extracted mixture flow. The conduits (13, 16, 23, 26) accommodating the tubes are connected to a separator (17).</p> |
