<p>Metal complexes of formula (I) are new: (where M is metal, R1 is =7C alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, 3-7C cycloalkyl or opt. substd. aryl, R2 is furanyl, thienyl, naphthyl, biphenyl or phenyl (opt. substd. by halo, 1-4C alkyl, 1-3C alkoxy, alkenyloxy, NO2 or CF3), X is N or CH, Y is inorganic acid anion, n is 1-4). (I) are prepd. by reacting a beta-azolylketone with MYn. -mH2O (m = 0-4) in a solvent. They are fungicides more effective than known metal azole complexes. They are useful as foliar or soil fungicides (with a partly systemic effect) and as disinfectants. For control of mildew they are esp. used as synergistic associations with e.g. N-tridecyl-2,6-dimethylmorpholine or 2-bromobenzanilide. A typical cpd. is bis-(1-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl))-1-(2-furyl)-4,4-dimethylpentan-3-one- ) CuII chloride was prepd.</p> |
