Suspension installation for flat objects such as sheets of paper uses two linked strips which form a clamp between which several sheets may be held. A device presses one clamping strip against the other. A holder is fitted with a suspension hook for the clamp. - The ends of the clamping strips (2, 3) are bent inwards. Elastic or springly material on their opposite side edges is fitted with angled sections (2a, 3a) which act as longitudinal reinforcements. The angled sections form a groove may be directed inwards or outwards.
