Tree trunk bark stripper - has high pressure nozzles directed at preset angle to spray water for bark removal

The device for stripping bark from tree trunks incorporates a frame structure for firmly clamping the trunks. A high-pressure nozzle (12) sprays water on to the trunk to remove pieces of bark. These are mounted to swivel in relation to the trunk (4) whilst the trunk is rotated relative to the nozzles. The water may be directed at a predetermined angle, pref. against the trunk direction of rotation. The nozzles can be mounted close together on a beam (11), at regular intervals along its length. The beam ends can slide in U profiles on a frame (5).
