The anchored edge-liner is for use on flat roofs, is held secure during high winds, and the anchorage system is more easily incorporated in existing installations. The liner is of an approx. 'C shape in cross-section, and is attached by mounting blocks to supports at longitudinal intervals. A locking mechanism secures the block to the support, and the block fits inside the liner section. The mounting block is capable of vertical displacement is spring-loaded and wedges between the down-turned flanges of the liner. The locking mechanism attaches to the mounting-block engages a shoulder on the support and may pivot towards the exterior to effect release. The two sides of the mounting block i.e. those parallel to the direction of displacement, may both be secured by the lockings mechanism.
