<p>PURPOSE:To maintain balance of flow between respective intake system in an intake device associated with plural independent intake systems by constructing respective intake manifold to be communicated through communication hole having small cross-section with large volume communication path. CONSTITUTION:Engine body 1 is of series four cylinder engine arranged in series with first to fourth cylinders #1-#4 where the intake manifold 4 to be fixed to one sideface is constructed with first and second intake manifolds 41, 42. The carburetor 3 is comprised of independent first and second carburetors 31, 32 which are fixed respectively to the inlet side of respective combined path 51, 52 of respective intake manifold 41, 42. Here, a communication path 7 having large cross-section is arranged over said paths 51, 52 and communicated through respective communication hole 81, 82 having relatively small cross-section to respective path 51, 52. Said path 7 is extended to the side section of respective manifold 41, 42 thus to form into single chamber.</p> |
