<p>POWDER FILLING OF CABLES A method and apparatus for continuously producing a multi-stranded powder filled core for a sheathed electric cable, in which the strands are passed in open arrangement through a closed chamber and powder is introduced continuously into the chamber in the path of the conductors. That portion of the powder settling in the chamber is recirculated and additional powder is fed into the chamber as the powder in the chamber is depleted by filling the core.</p> |
