<p>SPARK IGNITER SYSTEM FOR GAS APPLIANCE PILOT IGNITION A spark igniter operative from a low voltage DC source for a gas or vaporous fuel pilot including a simplified ringing-choke DC-to-DC converter and a relaxation oscillator/pulser for producing the ignition spark. An inhibit circuit utilizing a flame rod and the flame rectification phenomenon disables the relaxation oscillator/ pulser when the pilot flame is extant.</p> |
