<p>The present invention relates to a process for the production of pyridine or 3-methyl pyridine which comprises reacting ammonia with acrolein in the gaseous phase in a fluidization reactor containing a fluidized bed of catalyst. By separately feeding the gaseous ammonia and acrolein to the bed, the yield of the product is substantially increased.</p> |
