<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize the apparatus by a method wherein at least more than one magnetic pole are formed on the surface of a steel plate as sealing plate of a roller bearing and a magnetic pole detection sensor is provided near the surface of the sealing plate to detect an alternating change of the magnetic poles. CONSTITUTION:As an outer ring 2 turns, a sealing plate 56 mounted thereto 2 is turned together therewith to vary magnetism magnetized onto a magnetic body with rotation. This variation of the magnetic pole is detected with a detection sensor 6 and a waveform shaping is performed with a waveform shaping circuit 61. Moreover, a detected cycle is compared with a preset reference cycle by a comparator circuit 63 and a signal based on the results of the comparison is shown on a display device 64 to allow the detection of a rotary variation state of the outer ring 2 thereby reducing a necessary space about a roller bearing.</p> |
