<p>The piezoelectric transducer has a conducting element placed between two piezoelectric elements. Each element consists of two small plates, each with two large surfaces on which electrodes are provided. Each plate has a specified impedance. An adhesive layer joins surfaces of the two small plates, and provides electrical and mechanical contact between the surfaces of the plates, so that an element impedance is produced, which is smaller than the specified plate impedance.</p> |
