The focussing solar heat collector has a supporting portion and cylindrical, spherical or parabolic mirrors mouned alongside each other, each with absorber pipes along the focal line. One or more sheets cover the space in the supporting portion in which the mirrors are accommodated. The supporting portion can be a box, open to one side, of wood, glass, metal, plastic, or hard plastic foam, with recesses in the lateral ribs in which the absorber pipes are inserted and fixed. The recess can be so positioned as to hold the pipes they accommodate on the mirror focal lines. Pref. the supporting portion is of Teflon, PTFE or polyacrylic glass. The mirrors may comprise Al foil on a polystyrene support.
