<p>A circuit arrangement is used for safe testing of electrical connections in DC circuits, such as associated with electrical traction it has a capacitor (2) and a rectifier (7) connected in parallel at the end of each line to be tested. The capacitor is charged at the beginning of each switching operation involving the line and its discharge current recorded. The evaluation circuit may comprise three relays (4, 5, 8) in succession, one of the relays being connected to a further capacitor (6) which is charged from the first capacitor (2) by way of the first relay contacts (4. 1, 4. 2). The second capacitor (6) inhibits the release of the parallel relay during the switching operation. An indicator lamp may be connected in series with the remote rectifier.</p> |
