<p>The laminated decorative plate has an unroughened rear side which can be glued, and one or more decorative layers, together with layers of phenol-resin-impregnated kraft paper. On the rear side is absorbent strip material, impregnated with dispersion glue instead of phenol resin, typically polyvinylacetate glue. The strip material can be kraft paper with a weight between 80 and 150 grammes per sq. metre. The amount of dispersion glue applied can be 10-50% of the weight of the strip material per unit of area, based on the solids content of the glue. The design is cheap to produce and gives sure adhesion on application.</p> |
