<p>The padlock has a hasp which is completely pulled out of the lock housing, and its ends are locked by catches in the housing. The hasp is pushed by its pointed ends into the housing and the spring loaded catches lock into its end notches automatically. The lock cannot be opened by unauthorized persons. The ends of the U shaped hasp (1) have polygonal shaped zones. This shape prevents opening of the lock by forcible twisting. The lock housing has entry channels (8) for insecting the ends, having cross sections matching the polygonal end zones (9) of the arms. The arms can have polygonal cross section over their whole length and channels have similarly shaped cross section over their whole length.</p> |
