Cine film projector synchronisation system - uses output signal from projector shutter to compare with standard and control motor

The equipment is used for synchronising a film projector and any associated equipment. It operates by using an output signal from the rotary shutter in the projector as an input to a comparator device. The pulsed output of the film projector shutter is fed into a receiver and compared with a standard pulsed signal produced by the device in two phased changing stages the output of which drive a switching circuit to control a synchronous motor. The device is also provided with a readout circuit and indicator to allow monitoring of operation. The synchronous motor may be another projector tape-recorder, etc.
