PURPOSE: To completely prevent a lead wire and a bus bar from being seen on the exteral of a car by setting increase quantity of surface resistance of a conductive coating layer to be about half the surface resistance of a surface coating layer of base material or less. CONSTITUTION: A transparent body 20 is provided with an outer glass plate 22, a plastic middle side 24, and an inner glass plate 26. A conductive coating layer 28 is applied to an inner surface 30 of the plate 22, an opaque trim 32 is disposed along a end edge of the transparent body 20, so the transparent body 20 cannot be seen from a car body. Electricity is supplied through bus bars 34, 36 and lead wires 48, 50 to the layer 28, and electric connection of a power source 46 and a windshield glass which can be heated is performed along a lower edge of a terminal zone 58. As an increase quantity of surface resistance of the layer 28 covering a trimmed part 44 is about 50% the surface resistance of the layer 28 covering the surface 30 or less, troubles are not generated in heating the transparent body 20. |
