PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a first-in first-out memory by compressing continuous same data into one, loading it on the first-in first-out memory and loading continuous numbers in the other first-in first-out memory. CONSTITUTION:When data which appear on an input data bus 4 continue as same data, a load control circuit 30 stops the transmission of same data for the first-in first-out memory (FIFO) 10 through a load signal line 3. A counter circuit 50 and a counter selection circuit 60 simultaneously count the number of the appearing times of same data by a control signal outputted to a control signal line 10, generates an identifier selecting one of counters 1 in the circuit 50, and loads it on FIFO 20 through a data line 8. At an unloading time, the identifier which has counted the number of continuous times is outputted on an output data line 2 from FIFO 20 and an unloading circuit 40 stops unloading until a counting value which the counter holds comes to zero. Thus, the capacity of the memory can be reduced. |
