The angle or length measuring apparatus has a multi-pole synchro (10), at the output of which the addressing input of at least one read-only memory (38, 39) and a correction mechanism (37) are connected with interposition of a synchro/digital converter (12). A display device (24) is connected to the output of the correction mechanism (37). For each output signal, located within a predetermined range, of the angle or length meter present in the form of the multi-pole synchro (10), a fixed correction value determined by means of a reference measuring device by single calibration measurement is stored as information in the memory (38, 39). The correction mechanism (37) corrects each output signal from the multi-pole synchro (10) by means of the correction value stored in the memory (38, 39). This apparatus, operating with a transmitter in accordance with the principle of the synchro-generator, can achieve a high resolution and, at the same time, a high measuring accuracy. <IMAGE> |
