The method of rivetting carrying handles is for packaging cartons fitted with closure flaps. The packaging cartons used have closure flaps (25) fitted above the rivet attachment point (38) with the closure flaps shorter than the distance of the rivet from the attachment points of the closure flap. The packaging cartons (4) are guided in a largely horizontally lined up closure flaps (25) below the rivetting installation (2) and during the vertical upward movement of the packaging cartons (4) between the rivetting tools of the rivetting installation the closure flaps are bent downwards. |
