A miniature low power DC motor is esp. for use in vehicles and in general household powered appliances. The motor design provides constant centralisation of the rotor with respect to the pole pieces and minimises friction effects due to heating of the motor under load. The rotor shaft bearings (1) are held in place by a single 'S' shaped spring metal support (3) which takes up any off-centering that occurs. The centre section of the 'S'(s) is expanded to hold the bearing case which itself is cogged (10) to mate with the support. The support is held within the motor casing by a pin at each extremity of the 'S'. |
